Shadow of the Hegemon by Orson Scott Card is the readable but not great sequel to Ender’s Shadow, which by itself is as sequel of sorts to Ender’s Game. Ender’s Shadow, Orson Scott Card (TOR, 2005)

Ender’s Shadow by Orson Scott Card, is a companion/parallel tale to his brilliant novel Ender’s Game. It effectively tells the same story as Card’s award winning YA novel, but does so from a different Point of View (POV) focusing on different elements. While this sounds like a set up for a miserable book, it actually works quite well and is well worth reading. Continue reading
