Ephemera, Jeffery M. Anderson (2009)

Grendel, John Gardner (Ballantine Books, 1971)
Grendel is John Gardner’s post-modern and existentialist retelling of Beowulf from the monster’s point of view. Fun, funny and yet still thought provoking it is a must read. For a more in depth review, go to http://www.sophyanempire.wordpress.com
